„Artists for Ukraine“
Museumsquartier Vienna
In order to react to the current political developments in Ukraine, Bettina Leidl, director of the MuseumsQuartier, has invited the curators Hedwig Saxenhuber and Georg Schöllhammer to curate an art project in public space, starting tomorrow, Thursday, 3 March, daily from 18h-23h.
Artists from from Ukraine (coordinated by Nikita Kadan), Belarus (coordinated by Marina Naprushkina) and Russia will show statements on the MQ main façade and on the façade of the Leopold Museum. The solidarity action will be extended by further artistic positions in the coming days.
